Mr. Gary A. Hall, Principal principal

Gary Hall was born in Mobile, AL on April 14, 1966 to the proud parents of Mr. Lorenzo and Betty Jean Hall. He attended Davidson High School in Mobile and graduated in 1984. He later attended Alabama State University and majored in Language Arts. Upon graduation, Mr. Hall continued with his education at Alabama State University as he pursued his Masters degree in Administration. He taught English at Carver High School for four years and he then became an Administrative Assistant at Carver High for three years.

Mr. Hall departed Carver High School to become Principal of McIntyre Middle School. He was principal at McIntyre for three years. During his tenure at McIntyre, he was instrumental in attaining AYP status (Adequate Yearly Progress) for his school. He also led efforts to beautify the campus and facilities of McIntyre, and increased parental involvement. Due to his outstanding work history at McIntyre, Mr. Hall was awarded the principal's position at Carver High School. During his administration, Carver has met Adequate Yearly Progress requirements for the past two years and earned recognition in the US News and World Report as one of the best schools in the 2008-2009 school year.

Mr. Hall's contribution to the community that he is most proud of is preparing students in becoming productive and successful citizens for life after Carver High School. He conducts seminars on orientating parents and students on school rules and behavior expected from model students.

He currently holds membership at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Mt. Meigs, President of the Montgomery Principals Association, CLAS and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He is married to Gina Sanders-Hall with two loving children, Myles Anthony and Maya Marie.
